Does Cate Blanchett look stunning in her new Giorgio Armani ad?

In one word, yes—or perhaps we should say, si!

The blonde beauty proves she was worth every penny of the $10 million the New York Post reported she was paid to recently sign on as the face of the luxury brand's fragrances.

Despite her simple white button-down, the actress nevertheless manages to look stunning as she confidently stares into the camera with barely-there makeup.

Rosy cheeks, a pouty but lipstick-free mouth, and volumized hair complete her fuss-free yet fabulous campaign look.

It's a realistic look that real—and busy!—woman can replicate, and one that's in stark contrast to the recent dramatic celebrity perfume ads that we've seen from likes of Katy Perry's Killer Queen and Nicki Minaj's Minajesty campaigns.

But the understated elegance of Blanchett's ad is just in keeping with Armani's thoughts behind his latest creation.

"Si is my tribute to modern femininity, an irresistible combination of grace, strength and independent spirit," Armani said of the scent.

And seeing as his description of the fragrance can also be applied to his 44-year-old campaign star, we're not surprised he said, ahem, si to hiring her.

Plus, Blanchett is no stranger to lending her gorgeous looks to a beauty brand. The Australian actress has also starred in ads for skincare line SK-II.

Si, which features a mix of vanilla and cassis with notes of patchouli and freesia, is already available in the UK and will hit American beauty counters next year.
