For all the fans out there still moping over Kevin Zegers being off market...rest assured that he's happy!
"I feel like there was something calming about getting married," the Mortal Instruments: City of Bones star told E! News last night at the film's Hollywood premiere. "I know some guys feel bogged down, but I feel very mellow right now."
Zegers tied the knot with longtime love Jaime Feld on Aug. 3 in front of family and friends in New Jersey—and, from what he can remember, the whole thing went off without a hitch.
The ceremony was "beautiful," the 28-year-old actor said, adding, "It was like the perfect day. I know everyone says that, but the weather was perfect, the band was perfect...We just partied till God knows how long."
Zegers pointed out his wife mingling on the red carpet behind him, but she let her man, who plays Alec Lightwood in the feature adaptation of Cassandra Clare's hit fantasy novel, have his big moment.
Asked if he remembered anything about his wedding day, Zegers admitted that he tried his best to take it all in.
"Everyone told me, 'When you go into it, look at faces and just try to remember,' and so I did," he explained. "And we really took some time...we were sitting at a table by ourselves, so we were able to take a deep breath and look."
Sounds like he and the missus made the most of it.
Zegers also happened to star with Cory Monteith in what ended up being one of the Glee star's last films, All the Wrong Reasons, and he recently opened up about his pal's death in the latest issue of Bello magazine.
