Haters, take note: Miley Cyrus is not a ratchet white girl (her words, not ours, folks).

The controversial pop star bares her banging bod on the cover of Notion magazine in which the sassy songstress opens up about her ever-evolving style and her new music while firing back at the misconceptions surrounding the former Disney darling.

"I was thinking about dropping the Cyrus and just being Miley, but there's something powerful about the fact that my name now is like a household name," Liam Hemsworth's other half tells the mag.

Household, yes, but Cyrus' name has also seemingly become synonymous with scandal.

She recently made headlines for her controversial "tranny" comments, was photographed French-kissing a man dressed up as a giant baby, and continues to express her apparent affinity for marijuana. She's also down to discuss her strip club adventures, happily admits she swears like a sailor and shocked the world with her mind-blowing music video for her single "We Can't Stop."

"People have this misconception of me that I'm just one of these kids on TV and that now I go off and party and I'm just this ratchet white girl, and I'm not," the singer—who shows off her killer physique in a white leotard and jacket adorned with green leaves—explains. "I work really really hard, I'm just in a different environment."

And according to Miles, she's simply taking advantage of her charmed life in Tinsel Town.

"I'm young and living and in LA which is everyone's dream, you know," she says. "I'm living it to the fullest. Rather than taking a blessing and making it a curse, it's just like this is what this name is now. But I think my name means something—it represents something more than just what the media tries to make of it."

Whatever you say, girl. This isn't the first time the short-haired beauty has defended her much-buzzed about image and her hard-partying ways.

In June, she told MTV News she's often misunderstood by the public (mind you, she doesn't care what people think).

"People more think of me as a party animal," she previously confessed. "Which I am a self-proclaimed party animal, but I'm also the hardest working person you'll ever know."

In addition to defending her lifestyle, Miley also recently got a new tattoo, courtesy of Kat Von D, who is apparently Mileybird's new BFF (watch out, Britney Spears!)

"@thekatvond is so ILL," she captioned a pic of the pals at the parlor.

No word yet as what Miley decided to have inked on her upper right arm, but we're sure she'll soon unveil her fresh tat on social media.

And considering this is Miley Cyrus, the possibilities are endless.
