Ooh la la!

Not only is Diane Kruger looking très chic in her first video as the new face of Chanel skin care, but the blond beauty is really showing her commitment to the fashion house by singing its praises in the language of its founder, Coco Chanel.

That's right, the German actress shows off her fab French skills—in addition to her flawless complexion and spot-on sense of style!—in the first of four videos in the luxury brand's "Where Beauty Begins" campaign.

"The elegance and subtlety of Chanel and the Chanel woman have always inspired me," gushes Kruger, who recently reached for a Chanel couture dress for one of fashion's biggest nights, the 2013 Met Gala.

And now that she is the epitome of a Chanel woman as the brand ambassador, we're guessing she'll inspire many a gal, too! We're already coveting the beauty look from the video, which has her looking red carpet-ready with a sultry red lip and a stunning side part with loose curls.

But for Kruger, beauty means more than just picture perfect makeup and hair.

"I believe that beauty is not skin deep," she explains. "I think that beauty is something that you earn. It's a question of curiosity, culture, a certain strength of character."

But, hey, a few good beauty products can't hurt, right? And to hear Kruger tell it, Chanel is on the cusp of innovative skin care.

"I think that Chanel is attempting a new skin care approach," she says. "It's very scientific, of course, but these are products adapted to women today."

If we can look as hot as 37-year-old Kruger does, we'll snap them right up!
