How do starlets stay so slim in Hollywood?

Sure, they may talk about working out with professional trainers and eating healthy all the time, but the real trick is to not eat at all. At least, that's what Zoe Saldana says in the latest IFC Comedy Bang! Bang! clip (catch the entire thing Friday, Aug. 9 at 10 p.m.).

Yes, of course she's joking!

In the comedic scene, the interviewer tells Saldana that she's in great shape.

"I mean, I don't work out a lot, but I like to eat healthy," she responded, and when he asked what she had for lunch, she simply stated, "I haven't had lunch yet..it's very Hollywood, I know…It's not the only meal you can skip in one day."

The actress continued to say that all she does is "snack," and that "you can go on for days doing that."

Although the star was just kidding, she recently dealt with very real controversy surrounding her weight.

Allure magazine decided to print the celeb's three-digit number on their cover, which read, "Zoe Saldana: 115 Pounds of Grit And Heartache." The magazine created a stir and was the receiving end of some backlash from critics who felt the mag glorified such a small number, especially in such an already thin-obsessed culture.

Saldana had no regrets, however, and explained, "I come really hard, I'm a very aggressive person when you meet me because I am a devout New Yorker and I'm Latina so this is my personality. It's not the first time that people have said, for such a delicate-looking person, you're very tough. And I think that was the idea that they wanted to get across as a compliment to what they saw in me."

And there's no skipping of the meals involved here.
