Tina Turner got married this weekend in Switzerland to longtime love (and German music executive) Erwin Bach, and the 73-year-old legend went all out!

Turner invited 120 guests to her estate near Zurich for a weekend of wedding festivities, culminating with her nuptials to Bach, whom she dated for 27 years prior to their engagement in April. This is Tina's second marriage—her first, to Ike Turner, ended in divorce in 1978.

There's nothing wrong with leaving white to the wayside as long as your dress is still fabulous: The songstress (pictured center) wore an emerald green Giorgio Armani gown, which got us thinking about other celebs who dismissed white dresses for their big day.

Pioneering stars that have walked the aisle in non-white gowns include Dame Elizabeth Taylor, who married actor Richard Burton (for the first time) in a rich sunflower yellow frock in 1964.

Standout colorful gowns were worn by Anne Hathaway and Gwen Stefani, who donned shades of pink on their wedding days. Shenae Grimes went the Sarah Jessica Parker route and wore black Vera Wang to her nuptials.

Other celebs that stunned in non-white include actress Julianne Moore and filmmaker Sofia Coppola, who were both married in light lavender, while Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey took a turn for the iron side and married husband Peter Thomas in a gunmetal-hued gown.

What do you think of these celebs' non-white wedding gowns? Sound off in the comments.
