Randy Jackson: out. Nicki Minaj: out. Mariah Carey: out. Keith Urban: uncertain.

With three of the four judges officially not returning for season 13 of American Idol, all eyes are on the show's remaining judge, country superstar Urban. Will he exit the Fox reality singing competition as well? Or will he return to join Jennifer Hudson and another unnamed Idol alum at the revamped table next season?

We chatted with Urban and wife Nicole Kidman on the red carpet at the 2013 CMT Awards Wednesday night, and the country crooner was pretty honest about his future on the struggling Fox series.

"I have no idea! You probably know as much as I do!" he told E! News.

When asked if she enjoyed watching her husband as a judge on Idol, Kidman gushed: "I did and I think he's really, really good at doing something like that. I mean I'm glad he's back to his music now, though!"

Urban explained that being able to continue working on his music while mentoring on Idol was one of the best parts of doing the show.

"We get to do what we're doing anyway. It's not like we're putting it on hiatus," he said. "We've been working on my album for the last year. It's nice, it's going to becoming out soon."

Urban is set to begin his new tour in July, so should he not return to Idol, he's still "got a lot of stuff going on."
