That's because E! News has learned the 51-year-old actor is engaged to longtime girlfriend Allegra Riggio!
A source tells us Harris got down on one knee Sunday on the beach in Malibu at sunset and proposed to the TV host and lighting designer. He presented her with a heart-shaped diamond ring with a mounting in the shape of an "H" for Harris.
And last night at Bar Lubitsch for Allegra's 38th birthday, the couple surprised a roomful of about 75 guests by announcing the good news, which Riggio herself later confirmed on Twitter.
"We're engaged! #TeamHarris" she tweeted.
The veteran actor met his bride-to-be at a comedy show three-and-a-half years ago, and the duo have been together ever since.
Harris, who is the son of late British acting legend Richard Harris, most recently appeared on the big screen playing Ulysses S. Grant in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln. He is next set to star in the action-adventure fantasy, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, hitting theaters in August.
Riggio is also a contributor to XO Vain.
