Two and a Half Men is losing the "half man" (Angus T. Jones) and gaining a young woman—the series-regular role of Charlie's (Charlie Sheen) long-lost daughter, sources confirm to E! News.
So who will play this high-profile and (if past salaries are any indication) high-paying role?
A Men source tells E! News that Warner Brothers and executive producer Chuck Lorre are in the "early stages" of casting the new third wheel, and are looking at "everyone from big name A-listers to newcomers."
The character will be a love child that Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen), who is now deceased, never knew he had. And naturally, when this long-lost daughter shows up looking for her biodad, Uncle Alan (Jon Cryer), and current roomie Walden (Ashton Kutcher), will bring her into the fold.
Here's our highly scientific (not even a tiny bit) dream list of who should be cast as Charlie Sheen's TV offspring. See if you agree!
- Ellie Kemper
- Michelle Trachtenberg
- Ariana Grande
- Emily Browning
- Ashley Greene
- Dianna Agron
- Vanessa Hudgens
- Ashley Tisdale
- Katharine McPhee
- Julianne Hough
- Katrina Bowden
- Merrit Wever
- Amanda Bynes *
*We aren't being catty here. This kind of role could be great for Ms. Bynes!
