Nikita and the gang are going on one last mission.

Cult favorite series Nikita has officially been renewed for a fourth and final season by the CW. Also renewed for the fall was freshman series The Carrie Diaries, the Sex and the City prequel starring AnnaSophia Robb as a young Carrie Bradshaw.

The Maggie Q-led spy drama, which has proven to be a solid Friday night performer for the CW, will say goodbye with a shortened season.

"Nikita will return, but not for a full season," showrunner Craig Silverstein tweeted. "We can promise an incredible finish though!"

The network already announced the renewal of The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and Arrow, as well as freshman drama Beauty and the Beast and Rachel Bilson's Hart of Dixie.

The Originals, a Vampire Diaries spinoff centering on Klaus (Joseph Morgan), has been ordered to series, as well as four other drama pilots, including The Tomorrow People and The 100.
