While the star didn't share any pictures of her latest line, her hairstylist, Kristin Ess, did give a sneak peak at her hairstyles on Instagram. The updos were gorgeous, unique and packed with flower power. Naturally, we couldn't resist chatting with Kristin to get even more scoop on the oh-so-pretty styles.
"We have so much fun creating different styles for Lauren's Kohl's campaigns. Each outfit requires a new 'do so we're always trying new things," Ess tells E!. "Lately, we've been working with a more natural, romantic texture and incorporating flowers."
Kristin even has a name for her daisy-adorned french braid style: "I call that Pinterest hair!"
Kristin says it's okay to have an updo come a little undone, as she did with Lauren's second style. "This look was one of those hairstyles that you just 'pin and drape' as if you're making a dress. You literally wing it!," says Ess. "Just hold pieces up and pin them where you think they look good." She adds that she included a little braid just for fun.
Of course, it wouldn't be a LC shoot unless the blond bombshell could let her hair hang long and loose. "The last one is the French braid taken halfway out. I left the hairline braided, twisted and joined it in the back with a clear elastic and then added a different type of flower," explains Ess. "We often have to figure out ways to have one style morph into another because we have to shoot so many looks in one day."
Brides-to-be (or even bridesmaids) take note, these styles came just in time for wedding season.
