Heads up Divergent fans!

The title for the final book in the hit trilogy has just been announced.

The hit series' author Veronica Roth announced today that Allegiant is slated to hit book shelves on Oct. 22.

The third novel, which follows on last years Insurgent, will continue to follow Tris Prior as she tries to move past her life within the confounds of her dystopian Chicago.

The announcement comes on the heels of yesterday's casting announcements for a big-screen adaptation of the best-selling young adult series.

Ashley Judd and Tony Goldwyn are set to join an already star-studded cast alongside Kate Winslet and Shailene Woodley, who is taking on the role of Prior.

Filming begins this month in the windy city and arrives in theaters March 21, 2014.
