Torchwood fan favorite John Barrowman is set to guest star on ABC's political hit Scandal.
"John Barrowman is here working at @ScandalABC today," showrunner/Torchwood fan Shonda Rhimes tweeted on Tuesday. "Life is good. #torchwood #captainjack #iamanerd."
While we've yet to learn who Barrowman will be playing on the super-secretive show, we do know he will appear in Scandal's penultimate episode of its second season, airing May 9.
In addition to playing the beloved Captain Jack Harkness, who was so popular on Doctor Who that he was given his own show, Barrowman is currently enjoying a recurring role as baddie Malcolm Merlyn on the CW's new hit drama Arrow.
This isn't the first time Rhimes has worked with Barrowman: He starred in her pilot Gilded Lilys, which ABC chose not to pick up.
Scandal airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
