One way to get people to tune into your show when it's moved to Saturday night? Bring in Liza Minnelli!

Smash is set to welcome the Broadway legend this Saturday, April 6, its first episode in the new time slot after NBC moved it from Tuesday night due to low ratings.

We've got your first look at Minnelli's Smash debut, including her performance of "A Love Letter From the Times" with star Christian Borle! Plus, Borle drops some major season two scoop:

"Tom is trying to counteract all the evil Derek has done as director of Bombshell by being everyone's best friend, and he realizes that doesn't quite work," Borle previews. "In the lead-up to Bombshell's opening, Tom has been so busy that he's forgotten his best friend Ivy's birthday, so as a special birthday treat he's whipped up a song and has very quickly taught it to Liza Minnelli, his old friend."

Of the song she performs with Borle, which is about wishing Ivy (Megan Hilty) luck on her opening night, Minnelli gushes, "It's dear. The song's really wonderful!"

To hear more from Borle and Minnelli, watch our sneak peeks at the episode below!

Smash airs Saturday at 9 p.m. on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
