Talk about a First World problem!

In a new interview with New York Magazine, Eva Mendes revealed that she wishes her dog, Hugo, and Ryan Gosling's dog, George, had paparazzi protection. Meaning? Tabloids would blur their faces like British papers to do celeb kids' faces.

"I'll go somewhere and they'll be like, 'Hey, Hugo!' and I'm like, 'How do you know Hugo's name?'" she marveled. "That's so creepy!"

That was about as personal as the Place Beyond the Pines star wanted to get, though. When asked how she and Ryan first met, she wouldn't tell. "That's where I start to shut down," she admitted. "Because it gets into personal territory that I don't feel comfortable talking about. So sorry."

As for any Gosling babies in her future? Don't even go there. "I'm so out of here," she said, laughing. "You know the cartoon where the steam comes out and it says, 'Boop-bee-boop. System down'?"

Actually, no. But who can blame her for wanting to keep the Internet's boyfriend all to herself?!
