You know how you reach for the same green item in your closet every St. Patrick's Day?

Well, it turns out Kate Middleton does the same thing! That's right the Duchess of Cambridge celebrated this St. Patrick's Day in much the same way she did last year: handing out sprigs of shamrocks to the Irish Guards in Aldershot and wearing the same Emilia Wickstead coat.

The royal looked fashionably festive in her trusty green coat-dress yet again, this time ditching the waist-cinching belt to accommodate her growing baby bump. She also covered up a bit more this year too, donning sleek tights, a cozy turtleneck and matching gloves for a chic cold-weather ensemble. As for accessories, she once again borrowed the Queen Mother's oh-so-holiday-appropriate gold shamrock brooch, and topped off her celebratory look with a John Locke beret.

While we have to wait and see whether her colorful coat makes another appearance next St. Patrick's (third time's the charm, right?), we're guessing she'll reconsider her pumps, which got caught in a grate, but—thankfully!—didn't trip the mom-to-be. Best not to tempt the luck of the Irish twice!
