Bradley Cooper can hold off on researching about performance-enhancing drugs—for now.

The Silver Linings Playbook star insists there's no truth to him wanting to play Lance Armstrong in a movie version of the disgraced cyclist's life.

"Oh my God, that's so nuts!" he told Access Hollywood.

Although the 38-year-old actor revealed to BBC News earlier this month he "would be interested" in playing Armstrong, he explained he actually "had no idea what [the interviewer] was talking about."

"I didn't even know that J.J. [Abrams] has the rights," he added. "I had no idea."

Sigh. Guess that means we won't be seeing 2012's Sexiest Man Alive in bike shorts anytime soon.
