Someone's lit from within by the glow of motherhood!

Drew Barrymore is Allure's January 2013 cover girl, the new mom having posed for photographer Carter Smith just weeks after giving birth to daughter Olive.

But while, like many famous moms, Barrymore looks as if she has snapped back into shape in an inordinate amount of time, it doesn't sound as if the actress is sweatin' the small stuff, like a little extra baby weight.

"I cannot live a life where I'm deprived. I'd much rather be five, 10 pounds heavier," she tells Allure in the issue due out Dec. 25.

Besides, Barrymore's got way too much on her proverbial plate these days to be overly concerned about her already pretty darn lovely appearance.

"I will always commit," she says. "It's like this makeup line [that she's starting with Walmart]: I can tell you every single detail about how and why we got here. I want to be that kind of mother. I'm that kind of friend. I'm that kind of producer. I do everything in this life-or-death way.

"The only thing I've tried to get better at," she adds, "is starting to believe maybe it's not life or death. But the [level of] commitment hasn't changed or wavered."

Speaking of commitment, Barrymore, aka Mrs. Will Kopelman, says that she's all the way in on this marriage thing.

"I'm a Kopelman now," she says proudly. "I have stationery that says ‘Drew Barrymore Kopelman.'"

"We have opposite experiences, but we're not opposites," Barrymore says of her and her real-life leading man. "We're both very particular and detail-oriented. We love art and music and adventures, and we laugh our asses off together."

The mag also asked if she felt particularly weird about pal Kristen Wiig dating her ex, Fabrizio Moretti of the Strokes.

"It all seems so wacky and incestuous, but that's kind of how life works," Barrymore says, another bit of small stuff that she's not sweatin'.
