Now that she's pregnant, we can't wait to see what fabulous fashions she'll chose to cover her burgeoning baby bump. (In our excitement, we even weighed in with stylish maternity wear suggestions for the duchess!)
As it turns out, Middleton's wedding dress designer, Sarah Burton, might also clothe the mom-to-be during her pregnancy. Burton, who is the creative director at Alexander McQueen, received an OBE for her services to the British fashion industry on Thursday, and revealed she's open to dressing the expectant royal.
When asked if she would design any maternity clothes for Middleton, Burton laughed and said, "I hope I will be."
One thing's for sure, if Burton's maternity clothes are anywhere near as gorgeous as Middleton's stunning wedding dress, we'll have a very fashionable nine months to look forward to. Plus, we're guessing Burton knows a thing or two about what a pregnant woman looks for in clothing, seeing as she's currently pregnant with twins herself! Congrats!
