CBS' loss is E!'s gain.

Following her ugly public departure from Blue Bloods, Jennifer Esposito has already lined up her next gig.

We've confirmed that Esposito will be making appearances on a reality show with E! slated to air in 2013. No further details are immediately available.

CBS decided to put Esposito on medical leave from the cop drama after her doctor advised her to lessen her workload to help her cope with her celiac disease. Afterward, the actress took to Twitter to vent, calling the network's decision "shameful."

Esposito spoke out about the situation in an interview on Fox News' FOX Files in November, saying CBS kept her on contract and suspended her without pay rather than accommodate her request to work fewer days. "Look, they have a job that they need done. I get it," she said. "You don't think I can do it in the two or three days that I'm offering in that...work space of eight days? Then I get it, you have to replace me. But that's not what happened. What happened was ugliness."

The actress also claimed that the terms of her suspension prevented her from looking for a job on another network TV show, but she was free to pursue work in filn or on the stage, as well as appear on a cable series provided that it doesn't air in the same time slot as Blue Bloods.
