If there's a hole in your life where the Kristen Stewart-Robert Pattinson-Taylor Lautner dynamic used to be—now that the Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere has more or less ended the Twilight Saga press tours—we'd like to introduce you to the cast of The Host: Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons and Jake Abel.

The trio are just starting promotion for their sci-fi flick, which just so happens to be penned by Stephenie Meyer, and if their banter on last night's BD2 black carpet is any indication, they're a worthy trio to carry on, "the torch of Stephenie Meyer," as Saorise calls it.

"Yeah, I guess so. I've made the film now, so I guess that's the first step," she revealed about picking up the Meyer mantle now that vampire franchise is over. "But I love the story and I love Stephenie and I love her writing, so I'm more than happy to do that."

She continued, "I'm not thinking about the pressure. I'm trying not to let that get to me because it's the sort of thing that you don't really know what the reaction is going to be. It's her next big story and I think we'll just have to wait and see what happens."

Just looking at the success of her first franchise (that'd be Twilight, of course), we think Stephenie might know the trick to striking gold. "She's evolved as a writer," Max chimed in on why Twilight fans need to turn out for The Host.

"It's a great concept and it's moved on from Twilight in the right way, but it's still something that I think the Twilight fans can enjoy and appreciate," Saorise explained before Jake piped up: "But it's just as sexy!"

Will Saorise Ronan be the next Kristen Stewart? Not so fast...

But don't expect the kind of shirtless action that Taylor Lautner is famous for delivering. "He doesn't take his top off though," Saorise lamented as Jake cut her off: "Don't say that! That's sequel material." Ronan quickly caught on and promised, "If they want a sequel, then Jake will take his top off."

And the cast has plenty of ideas of what that sequel would contain. But we'll let them tell you:

Jake: "I want to shoot more guns."

Max: "And he wants to take his top off more."

Jake: "I want to shoot guns with my top off!"

Saorise: "I want to play a character that sees Jake take his top off."

Jake: "That's the entire third movie, pretty much."

Saorise: "No one else is even going to be in it. He's just going to stand there with the wind in his hair."

Jake: "It's just going to be me doing farm work. Everyone else is dead. And I'm just going to be brushing wheat."

All the talk about shirtlessness and general hunkery is guaranteed to inspire a debate, so we might as well get it over with now. It was actually Saorise who posed the question though, chirping, "Which of you would be Taylor and which one would be Robert?

"I don't know if we should answer that," Max slickly responded while Saorise continued pondering, "I wonder. That's an interesting question. I don't know! I mean, automatically you think Max would be Robert because he's English, but not necessarily the case."

Which is when Jake suggested, "He also might be Dakota Fanning."
