Adam Levine is, once again, speaking out in defense of Christina Aguilera.

Just a couple of weeks after the Maroon 5 frontman lashed out at folks for being critical over his fellow Voice coach's fluctuating weight, the guy reiterated his remarks during an appearance on Ellen (airing Monday) after getting props from host Ellen DeGeneres.

"It's a very basic thing," Levine said matter-of-factly. "She should be left alone. No one should bother or haggle her about her weight or anything that she does or says. So, that's it. That's how I feel about it."

Speaking of The Voice, Levine expressed how "super confusing" it's been shooting both season three and season four of the singing competition simultaneously.

It was announced in September that Usher and Shakira were going to be brought in to replace Cee Lo Green and Aguilera when the reality series returns next spring for its fourth cycle.

"We're doing season three now, obviously, which has been really fun," Levine explained. "But now, we're also shooting the beginning of season four, which is really funny because we shot with Usher and Shakira the other day. And that was the first time we did that, which was trippy, because it wasn't the original people, but it was also a lot of fun. I remember thinking to myself, I love these guys, but just miss Cee Lo and Christina. But then I realized, it's OK because I'm going to see them in a week from now."

All's well that ends well.
