Kirstie Alley Reveals Hidden Relationship With Patrick Swayze

Actress insists she and her North and South costar fell in love on set

If there's one thing Dancing With the Stars' Kirstie Alley isn't, well, dancing around, it's her claim that she and Patrick Swayze developed intense feelings for each other while working on the 1985 miniseries North and South.

However, the Cheers alum tells Entertainment Tonight that at the time she thought, "Do not go down this road," as both of them were married.

"We did not have an affair," Alley insists. "But again, I think what I did was worse. Because I think when you fall in love with someone when you're married, you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It's doubly bad."

The 61-year-old actress adds, "After Patrick, I made a decision that I was not ever going to involve myself with anyone married."
