After performing at a rally for President Barack Obama Wednesday night, the pop star celebrated her birthday Thursday by having lunch with first lady Michelle Obama.
"NOW my bday is complete!," Katy tweeted, along with a picture of herself and Mrs. O smiling with their arms around each other.
But the California Gurl wasn't just hanging out with the FLOTUS on her special day. Thursday night, she hit up the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Show at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, Calif.
"Thank you all for making me feel so special today," she tweeted. "I'm overwhelmed with all the love that I might have a small happy cry now. So blessed."
But Katy isn't the only one who's benefiting from her birthday. In lieu of presents, she's asked fans and friends to donate to the David Lynch Foundation to help spread transcendental meditation to others.
