Johnny Depp is an actor, a musician and, apparently, a literature lover!

The 49-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star is getting into the publishing business with his own book imprint called Infinitum Nihil with HarperCollins. The publisher said in a statement the imprint will be "authentic, outspoken and visionary."

One of its inaugural books will be The Unraveled Tales of Bob Dylan, written by historian Douglas Brinkley.

"Johnny and I thought the Dylan book was the ideal way to inaugurate the Infinitum Nihil series," said Brinkley in a statement. "Bob has been very warm and forthcoming with us. His music has inspired us both deeply since we were teenagers."

In January 2013, Depp's imprint will publish Woody Guthrie's novel House of Earth, and an essay by Brinkley and Depp will introduce the book.

Depp said in a statement his imprint "will do [its] best to deliver publications worthy of people's time, of people's concern. Publications that might ordinarily never have breached the parapet."

Exciting stuff!
