NBC renewal news has been running rampant, which means cancellation news was inevitable.

The Peacock network has to can five series today, so bear down and hold your breath as you find out which shows—three comedies and one drama—will not be getting another season…

E! News has confirmed that the high-concept drama Awake, Kathy Bates' Harry's Law and the comedies Are You There Chelsea?, Best Friends Forever and the critically beloved Bent will not return to NBC.

For those keeping score, other casualties of NBC for the 2011-2012 season include The Firm, Free Agents, Prime Suspect and The Playboy Club. But before that frown gets too big, turn it upside down and check out all the renewal announcements NBC has released so far.

NBC will release its full fall lineup next week during its upfront presentation in New York City.

Surprised by these cancellations? Bummed? Scroll down and let's talk it out.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
