All's fair in love and war...we guess.

E! News confirms that Army Wives star Catherine Bell and her husband of 17 years, Adam Beason, have mutually decided to separate.

"They remain great friends," her rep told People. "They're committed to raising their two children together."

Bell and screenwriter Beason, have two children together, 8-year-old daughter Gemma and 1-year-old son Ronan. And it's not just their kids that's causing the need for a civil relationship.

The two will continue to be partners in their production company, DaVinci Films, and Bell will be featured in TNT's Good Morning Killer which airs in December.

Weird? Hardly.

"They're excited to work on projects together," says her rep.
