Sure, it's all joyous and exciting to find out that you're having a baby—or babies—and then you realize that you need to come up with their names. And this name will be what defines them for the rest of their lives.

Pressure much?

Neil Patrick Harris is no stranger to this obstacle, and explains to Jay Leno on The Tonight Show how he and soon-to-be hubby David Burtka decided on their twins' names, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace.

NPH explains that, just like many other parents-to-be, he and Burtka went perusing the Interwebs searching on baby names. There were obviously numerous choices, but there were two things that were important in choosing the right name.

First off, they wanted something that was relatively easy to spell. (We're sure their kids will be grateful for this in the future.)

Secondly, the How I Met Your Mother star explains that they didn't want the name to define the child's future career, saying "Gideon", for example, could be "a scientist or a guitar player in a band."

Good thinking, guys.

But wait a minute, wasn't there another baby Harper born recently?

Check out the video to find out how Harris feels about another celeb spawn having the same name as his daughter.
