Why Were Cops Called to Kourtney and Scott's Place?

L.A. Sheriff's Department confirms three house calls in past week were due to faulty burglar alarm, not domestic strife

First we get the video of their most recent blow-up. Now we learn that squad cars have been regular making visits to the home shared by Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick.

In fact, the Lost Hills/Malibu division of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirms to E! News that deputies have responded to the couple's Calabasas digs three times this week, including yesterday around 2 p.m.

So what's the trouble?

Turns out it has nothing to do with the couple's oft-stormy relationship. Just call it a false alarm. Literally.

The sheriff's department says the drop-bys had to do with a home burglar alarm system. Scott and Kourtney weren't even home during any of the house calls. (Kourtney was at E! HQ when the deputies swung by on Thursday.)

Kourtney's mom and frequent Scott sparring partner, Kris Jenner, says that there's no more than the usual drama between the couple.

"They're trying to work on things," she tells E! News.

Apparently "work on things" is one heckuva euphemism.

Kourtney herself tells E! Online's Marc Malkin that a sibling could be in son Mason's near future.

"We're not trying, but we're not not trying," she said. "Kim and I are 18 months apart. We had the best childhood. It was so fun. Scott was an only child and I always say to him, 'Who did you play with and stuff?' It's just weird. I think Mason should have a sibling."

Hmmm, maybe the next time the deputies show, they could be responding to a special kind of noise complaint...
