Every (reservoir) dog has his day—in court.

Michael Madsen filed for bankruptcy last month, and E! News has obtained court documents showing the actor owes some serious to cash to a couple of his celebrity friends.

The erstwhile Mr. Blonde is in debt to Quentin Tarantino (who directed Madsen in Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill) for $1 million. Madsen owes another $25,000 to his Die Another Day cohort Pierce Brosnan.

Other creditors include a host of posh hotels, car dealers, jewelers, clothing stores, banks and hospitals. There has been no comment from Madsen, Tarantino or Brosnan.

Madsen, 50, says he's racked up $3.7 million in debt. While that may not sound too bad for a veteran character actor whose gross income averages about $50,000 a month, he states that after paying his bills, he nets -$3,392.

It's enough to make a guy want to plan a bank heist.
